  8. LICENSE AGREEMENT AND WARRANTY DISCLAIMER

  11. conditions before using this software. Use of this
  12. software indicates your acceptance of these terms and
  13. conditions.  If you do not agree with them, do not use
  14. the software.

  17. SHAREWARE VERSION LICENSE

  19. The Shareware Version is not free software.  If you
  20. are using the Shareware Version you are hereby
  21. licensed to use this software for evaluation purposes
  22. without charge for a period of 50 uses.  If you use
  23. this software after the 50-use evaluation period a
  24. registration fee is due (see Ordering Information).

  26. If you are using the Shareware Version of the software
  27. you are also hereby licensed to: Make as many copies
  28. of the Shareware version of this software and
  29. documentation as you wish; Give exact copies of the
  30. original Shareware version to anyone; Distribute the
  31. Shareware version of the software and documentation in
  32. its unmodified form via electronic means.  There is no
  33. charge for any of the above.

  35. Unregistered use of Registry Toolkit after the 50-use
  36. evaluation period is in violation of federal copyright
  37. laws.

  39. You may not decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer,
  40. or modify any version of Registry Toolkit (shareware)
  41. in any manner.

  44. REGISTERED VERSION LICENSE
  45.  
  46. One registered copy of Registry Toolkit may be
  47. dedicated to a single person who uses the software on
  48. one or more computers or workstations that are for
  49. their own exclusive use and for which they are the
  50. sole user.

  52. The purchase of a single user license specifically
  53. does not permit use of the program to modify, update,
  54. or search multiple workstations, directly or
  55. indirectly, via any means.  A single user license may
  56. not be made available in any form to multiple users or
  57. workstations.
  58.  
  59. Licensing is not based on "concurrent" users.  If
  60. multiple workstations are to access the program in any
  61. form and for any length of time you must purchase
  62. licenses for the number of workstations that will
  63. access the program.  If you make the registered
  64. version of Registry Toolkit available through a
  65. network and accessible by multiple users or
  66. workstations you are required to purchase licenses for
  67. the software covering all workstations that will
  68. access the software through the network.  Special
  69. pricing is available for multiple licenses.  See
  70. Ordering Information for information on how to
  71. purchase (register).

  78. WORKSTATION UPDATE AND/OR SPECIAL USE LICENSE

  80. Special licensing (and pricing) is available for
  81. modifying or searching multiple workstations,
  82. directly, or indirectly via scripts, command line
  83. processing, or logon routines.  The purchase of a
  84. special use license allows you to use the program to
  85. update the number of workstations for which you
  86. purchased special use licenses for.  Unless otherwise
  87. noted at the time of your purchase, a workstation
  88. update/special use license specifically does not allow
  89. individual workstation users to access the program for
  90. interactive use.  Do not create desktop shortcuts or
  91. launchers that allow workstation users to access the
  92. program outside of the specific update routine for
  93. which you purchased the special use license.

  101. OWNERSHIP RIGHTS

  103. Funduc Software, Inc. owns and retains all copyrights,
  104. patents, trade secret rights, trademarks and
  105. intellectual property rights to this software.
  106. Registration &/or use of the software does not grant
  107. you any right to the intellectual property in the
  108. product.

  118. RESTRICTIONS

  120. You are prohibited by law from selling, renting,
  121. leasing, loaning, or donating the program or
  122. documentation in whole or in part without specific
  123. advance agreement between yourself and Funduc
  124. Software, Inc.  You are prohibited by law from
  125. redistributing the registered version of the program
  126. by any method or in any form except to the specific
  127. individuals for whom the software was purchased.  You
  128. are prohibited from decompiling, reverse engineering,
  129. disassembling, or otherwise reducing the program to
  130. human readable form for any purposes whatsoever.  You
  131. may not modify the program or documentation in any
  132. manner.  You are prohibited from permitting anyone
  133. else from undertaking any of the above actions.

  135. You may not decompile, disassemble, modify, or reverse
  136. engineer Registry Toolkit (registered or shareware) in
  137. any manner.

  140. GOVERNING LAW

  142. This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the
  143. State of Michigan, United States of America.

  146. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY
  147.  
  148. This software and the accompanying files are sold "as
  149. is" and without warranties as to performance of
  150. merchantability or any other warranties whether
  151. expressed or implied.  In particular, there is no
  152. warranty for the string Replacing feature.
  153.  
  154. Good data processing procedure dictates that any
  155. program be thoroughly tested with non-critical data
  156. before relying on it. The user must assume the entire
  157. risk of using the program. Any liability of the seller
  158. will be limited exclusively to product replacement or
  159. refund of purchase price.
